Recent Reads of 2020

Wow guys! I always go through stages where I am either constantly reading, or not at all. Over the past two weeks I have read two amazing books that I wanted to share my thoughts on. I absolutely LOVED both of them so if you’re looking for some new recommendations then keep on reading. šŸ™‚

  1. In Five Years by Rebecca Serle

I was looking for an easy read and was actually really surprised by this book. In the past I’ve always been one for fantasy and adventure reads but I’m actually really liking the laid back ones atm. I found a list on in instagram account and this was at the top so I thought I’d give it a try. I was too lazy and impatient to order it and wait for it to arrive so I purchased it as an ebook on my phone. I finished it in under 5 days, reading it after school, waiting for the bus, right before bed. I love that it was based in NYC (the dream) and related to two of the main characters alot of the time which is always makes a book more interesting. It was such a beautiful, sad, yet inspiring story and will forever recommend it to anyone.

2. This is Not a Fashion Story by Danielle Bernstein

This has got to probably be one of the best books I’ve ever read. It wasn’t exactly fiction, so again, I wasn’t sure how I would enjoy it. It was recommended by one of my fellow instagram friends so knew I had to read it. Again, I was too lazy to wait for it to arrive so ordered it on my phone again. I honestly think reading books online is so much easier cause I have the chance of reading without having to lug a book around. This was the best book on business, fashion, NYC, love and paving your way through an online industry as a businesswoman. I have never finished reading a book and felt so inspired to get my ass up and make changes on my online career. SO. DAMN. AMAZING. I cannot say too much except for the fact that you have got to read it ASAP.

Keep your eyes peeled on for more recommendations cause there will definitely be some coming šŸ˜‰
